Scope of Work 

When the fastest-growing, US-based electric vehicle manufacturer has an announcement, it
knows exactly what it takes to make an impact. For the launch of its new R2, R3, and R3X
models, the facade of the Rivian South Coast Theatre was given a modern, playful facelift. A
subtle color gradient graphic was printed onto our signature Celtic Cloth. The printed fabric was
carefully cut into strips, being mindful not to disrupt the gradient. The strips were then evenly
laid out and assembled onto a curtain installed on the top theatre balcony.
 

The result? A seemingly simple yet technically complex strip curtain that perfectly embodied the
brand’s reputation for its contemporary design and use of groundbreaking technology.

Fun Facts!

• • To ensure the strips kept their uniform appearance and reduce movement, a pocket was
    sewn to the back of each strip near the center. An aircraft cable was threaded through
    the pockets and anchored at each end.
  • Webbing was used at the bottom of each strip to add additional weight, reduce
    movement, and create a clean, hard edge.
